Notchification

An iOS jailbreak extension which plays a user-defined animation upon receiving notifications. Specifically designed for the iPhone X's Notch, the primary animation would display a bubbles effect around the notch, pulling the color from the apps icon. In addition to the primary animation, additional "edge" animations were added.

How it works

  • The extension intercepts the notification and retrieves the apps icon
  • The animation is then colorized and displayed around the Notch

Features

  • Assign the number of loops an animation should play, or set it to loop infinitely.
  • Select from a variety of animations
  • Use dynamic colors pulled from the app icon, or set a fixed color.
